Herrick senior litigator, Ronald J. Levine and Richard Torrenzano (CEO of The Torrenzano Group), wrote an article for Directors & Boards sounding the alarm for corporate leaders to prepare for deepfake technology, in all forms – voice, photography and video.

To fight this "existential" menace, among other things, they recommend prioritizing investments in advanced detection technologies, developing a comprehensive crisis plan as well as engaging policymakers to shape the regulatory framework.
