Paul Herman had more than 40 years of experience helping wealthy families - both U.S. and non-residents - minimize the impact of gift and estate taxes and obtain the benefits of asset protection. He also advised public charities and private foundations.

Paul served on the boards of several publicly supported charities and was an officer and trustee of the Jewish Braille Institute. He lectured on estate planning and tax law developments for business and educational organizations, including the New York Practicing Law Institute, New York University Law School, and for charitable organizations. His articles on estate planning, including planning for charitable donations, have appeared in various publications.

After graduation from law school, Paul served as Law Clerk to Judge Harold R. Medina of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
