Daniella Muller focuses her practice on employment law as well as insurance coverage and reinsurance matters.
Daniella advises employees and employers in employment practices issues, including discrimination based upon disability, age, race, gender, national origin, sexual harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination. She represents corporations and individuals regarding severance packages, employment agreements and separation agreements and helps create and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state discrimination and overtime laws. Additionally, Daniella works with clients to draft employment policies and manuals and conducts seminars and sensitivity training programs. She frequently advises clients on ensuring their existing policies comply with federal and state laws and, if necessary, revises policies to ensure compliance.
Daniella also advises insurers and risk retention groups on coverage issues involving commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, automobile liability, first-party property and business interruption insurance. Daniella also advises insurers and reinsurers on policy and treaty language and helps prepare insurance forms and endorsements. She counsels insurers on regulatory compliance matters, advises them on the applicability of the various state regulations, and coordinates with state insurance departments to ensure compliance with the departments' regulations and requirements.
