This event was oriented towards persons with Hedge funds or in Private Equity that are looking to raise capital and improve their business development process. We spent four hours reviewing documentation, approach, regulation, etc. This event was for people who presently run or are considering launching a Hedge Fund, Private Equity Fund or Real Estate Fund.

Notwithstanding the capital overhang and an upward trend on valuations for middle market deals, accessing debt capital for lower middle market deals remains challenging. A panel of capital sources discussed some of the debt financing options available to fund lower middle market private equity deals and the current trends affecting the market, including leverage ratios and other deal terms. Our panel provided a perspective on what debt capital sources focus on and how a sponsor can best position a deal for a diversified capital base.
