Slaughters and Wachtell take lead on Colgate-Unilever double deal

The work of Edward B. Stevenson and Johanna L. Ferraro on behalf of Unilever, in its $215 million acquisition of Colgate-Palmolive's Colombian laundry detergent business, is noted. So too is the role played by Unilever's assistant general counsel, David A. Schwartz. The acquisition was part of a two-pronged transaction that also saw Unilever sell its Sanex division to Colgate-Palmolive.
