Our Sports Group provides transactional representation and ongoing, general counsel-related services. Our transactional representation includes new stadium construction, development and financing (we've been lead counsel on five stadium transactions in the last two years); purchase and sale of teams; team ownership transfers; team relocations; complex financings; naming rights and other premier sponsorship agreements; team non-relocation agreements; formation of new leagues; memorabilia sales arrangements; joint ventures covering concession services and restaurants; and major event and tournament promotions.
Our ongoing, general counsel-related services address player/personnel-related issues; boxing agreements between promoters and fighters; arena, event merchandising and television licensing agreements; working capital arrangements; sponsorship and advertising contracts; and personal seat, luxury suite and trademark licenses.
